Currently, Audio/Video Enterprises provides both the Audio and Video needs for the Burke County Jail, Burke County Courthouse, and the Burke-Catawba Detention Center.  We provide and service a full surveillance system, consisting of over 100 cameras, and seven DVRs. These DVRs are monitored by officers, and record information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The DVRs and cameras are provided by Crest Electronics.

We also provide and service intercom systems for the two jails.  Every cell and electronically controlled door has an intercom, so the person can speak to an officer on duty.  The main intercoms are located in the control rooms for each jail, and provide a vital and effective means of communication for the officers, and for emergencies.
